【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardprovidesguidanceonassessingthepotentialignitionhazardfromtheinadvertentextractionofenergyfromelectromagneticfields,propagatedfromcommunication,radarorothertransmittingantennastoplantwhereapotentiallyflammableatmospheremaybepresent.ThefrequencyrangecoveredbythisBritishStandardis9kHzto60GHz.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotapplytosimilarhazardsarisingfromelectromagneticfieldsgeneratedbyothermeans,suchaselectricstorms,electricitygeneratinginstallationsorotherradiatingelectricalequipment,nordoesitapplytoanyhazardarisingwithintelecommunicationorotherelectronicequipment.NOTE1Themethodsofassessmentfrom9GHzto60GHzarebasedonextrapolationofdataforfrequenciesbelow9GHz.NOTE2TheignitionofdustisnotcoveredinthisBritishStandard.ThisBritishStandardalsoprovidesadviceonhowtomitigatethehazardincaseswheretheassessmentindicatesthatahazardmayexist.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotcoverthehazardsassociatedwiththeuseofelectro-explosivedevices(EED)(seeBS6657),orthebiologicalhazardsofexposuretoRFfields.
